Mesa Store Gets Remodeled After 30 Years!
In 1979, Jim LaBrie opened the first Bug and Weed Mart store in Mesa, not far from the current Mesa store location. The family-owned and -operated do-it-yourself retailer specializes in pest and weed control products. In 1987, the Mesa storefront was moved to its current location within the Mesa South Center, situated on the southwest corner of Gilbert Road and Southern Avenue.
After 30 years in the same location, we recently unveiled the remodel of our Mesa store. This is the first location to be upgraded with upcoming remodels scheduled for some of our other Valley locations. The 1,000-sq. ft. store received updates from top to bottom, including a technology upgrade with the installation of a new P.O.S. (point of sale) system to streamline business processes and improve the customer experience.
“The new product displays and signage make it easier for customers to find exactly what they’re looking for,” said LaBrie. “We would love to have you come in and see the new look in our Mesa store. We are located at 1356 S. Gilbert Road.”
